Pre-Investment Technical & Decision Advisory

Pre-Investment Technical & Decision Advisory

Independent technical judgement, free from vendor, EPC, or capital-driven bias.

We provide fully independent, pre-investment technical and system-level advisory for energy, waste, recycling, and energy storage projects.

Our role is to support investment and strategic decisions at early and mid-development stages — before capital is committed and before technical assumptions become irreversible.

Independence & Objectivity

We are not affiliated with any EPC contractor, engineering company, OEM, technology vendor, fund, or capital group.

We do not design installations, sell equipment, promote specific technologies, or represent commercial interests.

This independence allows us to provide objective, unbiased technical judgement, based solely on:

  • physical and operational reality,
  • system-level behavior,
  • long-term technical and economic viability.

Our assessments are driven exclusively by facts, experience, and engineering fundamentals — not by project sales objectives.

Scope of Review

Our advisory covers complex industrial, energy, and process installations, both for new investments and for major modifications of existing assets.

Depending on the project context, the scope may include:

  • Waste processing, recycling, Waste-to-Energy, Waste-to-Fuels, and alternative fuel systems,
  • industrial energy systems based on conventional and alternative fuels (natural gas, solid fuels, RDF/SRF, biomass),
  • power and heat generation assets (CHP, boilers, furnaces, thermal conversion processes),
  • energy storage systems as part of broader system configurations,
  • heat recovery systems, thermal integration, and heat exchange networks,
  • complex thermodynamic systems and energy conversion chains,
  • grid-connected and behind-the-meter installations, including industrial load profiles,
  • interaction between generation, consumption, flexibility, and dispatch strategies.

The advisory is equally applicable to projects involving:

  • plant extensions or capacity upgrades,
  • significant process or configuration changes,
  • introduction of new fuels or feedstocks,
  • changes in operational philosophy or energy dispatch strategies,
  • integration of additional units into existing installations,
  • preparation of recovery, optimization, or restructuring plans for underperforming assets.

Our focus is not on individual components, but on how the entire system behaves as a whole — technically, operationally, and economically — once modifications are implemented and real operating conditions apply.

What Clients Receive

Clients receive a clear, decision-oriented outcome, typically including:

  • an independent GO / NO-GO / CONDITIONAL GO recommendation,
  • identification of key technical and system-level risks,
  • conditions required for long-term technical and economic viability.

The output is concise and aligned with executive and investment-level decision-making, not detailed design work.

Positioning

This advisory sits above classical engineering consultancy.

It provides the technical foundation for informed investment decisions, while detailed engineering, optimization, or implementation support follows only after a project has passed this independent technical reality check.
